He is the son of George Blodgett and Lucy Hoard He married (1) Roanah Hoard 04 Feb 1867 in VanBuren Co., Mi.. She was born Abt. 1851 in Indiana. She was the daughter of Bernett Hoard and Sarah Merrit. He married (2) Sarah (unknown) Staffin Abt. 1892 in Kalamazoo Co., Mi.. She was born Aug 1855 in Canada.
