Lloyd G. Malbone, 63, of 516 Oak street, died Sunday evening at his home after a lingering illness. He was born Dec. 29, 1878, in South Haven, and had been a resident here 33 years. He was connected with the Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett Company, Chicago, as a salesman since 1909, and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are the wife, Fern; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Hocking, Duluth, and Mrs Marian Stafford, Kalamazoo; two sons, Wesley and Howard Malbone, Kalamazoo; two sisters, Mrs. Winifred Rummel, Leslie, and Mrs. Carrie Brooks, Winterpock, Va.; two brothers, Frank Malbone, Three Rivers, and John Malbone, South Haven; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday from the Langeland chapel, the Rev. T. Thomas Wylie officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview cemetery, South Haven.
