2.  DAVID CARES4 MOYER (DAVID3, VALENTINE2 MEYER, JOHANN VALENTINE1) was born 09 Mar 1852 in Northumberland Co., PA, and died 06 Oct 1932 in South Haven, Michigan.  He married SARAH C GROHS 11 Oct 1877 in Three Rivers, St. Joseph Co., MI, daughter of EDWARD GROHS and SARAH STAHL.  She was born Jul 1857 in Pennsylvania, and died 03 Mar 1927 in South Haven, Michigan.

Notes for DAVID CARES MOYER:
David established the "Moyer Photographic Studio" In South Haven, MI. This business, created about 1900, was located in a two story brick building in the area of downtown South Haven. The building had skylight windows, which allowed for daylight exposures. Later, David's business was known as  "Moyer and Hopkins Photographic Studio".  Before the year 1924 this business changed hands and became the "Appleyard's Studio".

Mrs. D.C. Moyer Laid to Rest
  The body of Mrs. D.C. Moyer of South Haven, a former resident of this place was brought here for burial Monday afternoon.  The funeral services were held in South Haven Saturday afternoon.
  She is survived by her husband, one son, Vernon Moyer of South Haven and one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Malbone of Kalamazoo, all of whom with Mrs. George E. Mickle (Ada M. Mickle) of Ann Arbor attended the services at the grave.   Mr. Moyer was a photographer during their residence here.

Notes for VURNA MOYER:
Vurna is identified as having been "disinterred" on the Lakeview Cemetery Interment listing, Vurna, who died as a child,  was disinterred and relocated to the Constantine Township Cemetery at Constantine, St. Joseph Co., MI.  Her tombstone now  lies between those of her parents, DC and Sarah Moyer.  It appears that Vernon Tilghman Moyer, Vurna's brother, is now burried in grave #2, of Lot #26 in section #5 at Lakeview cemetery.
