Charles N. Nichols, who was mentioned in a former letter as being seriously ill, died at his home Monday morning, the 17th, aged 68 years. He had been a resident of this county since he was 12 years old. He served during the war of the rebellion in Co. G, 11th Mich. Infantry. Funeral services were held at the United Brethren church Wednesday at 2 o'clock p.m. The G.A.R., of which he was a member, had charge of the exercises.
