2.  Dr. THOMAS 2 DELANO (PHILIPPE1) was born 21 Mar 1641/42 in Duxbury, Plymouth, MA, and died 13 Apr 1723 in Duxbury, Plymouth, MA.  He is the son of PHILIPPE DELANO and HESTER DEWSBERY.  He married (1) MARY ALDEN Abt. 1667 in Duxbury, MA, daughter of JOHN ALDEN and PRISCILLA MULLINS.  She was born Abt. 1643 in Duxbury, Plymouth, MA, and died Bef. 24 Oct 1699 in Duxbury, MA.  He married (2) HANNAH BARTLETT, widow of William Bartlett, 24 Oct 1699.  She died, probably before 5 Oct 1722.

" Thomas Delano died April 15, 1723.  He makes no mention of his second wife, so she was probably dead  ... will is to be found in Plymouth Probate Records, Vol.4, p. 388.  In this will and elsewhere he is called Doctor.  It is dated Oct. 5, 1722.  Inventory taken by John Alden and Samuel Weston, April 29, and proved May 6, 1723 ..."

"Came to America on the "Mayflower" in 1620 and landed at Plymouth, MA.  7th and last surviving signer of the Mayflower Compact.  In Captain Myles Standish's Duxbury Company of 1643.

i.BENONI3 DELANO, b 20 Oct, 1667, and died in Duxbury, 5 Apr, 1738.

"Benoni Delano, born Oct. 20 1667 and died in Duxbury, April 5, 1738.  Whom and when he married is unknown.  She did not survive him, for we find no mention of her in the division of his estate, Sept. 12, 1738, amongst his eldest son Beriah, second son Lemuel, representatives of Hannah Harlow, deceased, and Rebecca Turner.  (Plymouth Colony Probate Records, Book 7, p. 32.)

     iii.JONATHAN DELANO, b. Abt. 1675.  He married  on 12 Jan 1699, MARY DOTON, b.                       abt. 1675 in Duxbury, Mass. and died there abt. 1764.

     iv.DAVID DELANO, b. Abt. 1678 in Duxbury MA; married ELIZABETH EDDY on 9 Jan                        1705 in Middleboro, MA. She was born  abt 1682 and  was the daughter of Obediah Eddy.

      v.MARY DELANO

     vi.SARAH DELANO, married JOHN DREW. son of Samuel Drew  and  Hannah                                    Churchill.  He was born in Plymouth, Mass. and removed to Middleborough, Mass. 

    vii.RUTH DELANO,  married SAMUEL DREW, b.  21 Feb 1677/78, son of John Drew                         and Hannah Churchill.

   viii.JOSEPH DELANO, b. 01 Sep 1685
